As I've said before, one of the most exciting things about visiting New York vs. Madison is that the majority of New York graffiti is created by people who have some idea what their doing, while most tagging in Madison is blocky letters that say stupid nicknames (Mother Fool's permission space excluded). But even when someone goes the write-something-stupid-with-a-Sharpie route in New York, it can make me laugh out loud:



Oh, how I'd like to have a beer with whoever wrote that.

Did you see any quality "Neckface" graffiti? This guy Neckface writes his name in all manner of unlikely places in the city. It's wild.

Oh, I certainly did. He had just done a new brilliant one on the Williamsburg bridge where instead of "Batman Begins" it read "Neckface Begins." It was like a celebrity sighting.
